18 people feared dead in Nepal Plane Crash

A Nepal Airlines Air Plane with 18 occupants crashed Sunday in bad weather in the north-west of the country, but rescuers have been unable to reach the presumed site in a forest and details remained sketchy.

It's An Open Letter for Cricketer Yuvraj Singh. 

Written by Kingfisher Airlines Ltd Employees Union asking the "INR 14 Crore" player not to accept Dr Vijay Mallya's Offer. The Letter comes just a day after Dr Vijay Mallya splashed a whooping 14 Crore on Crickter Yuvraj Singh for the shorter version of the game.

The letter written by the Kingfisher Airlines Ltd Employees Union that asks the Cricketer to take Moral high ground and give a second thought to playing for RCB.  Here is what the latter says:

Dear Mr. Yuvraj Singh, 

We all the Kingfisher Airlines Employees are your fan and not only us but full Nation Prayed for your Speedy Recovery from the Critical Cancer Illness and we are happy that you are not only maintaining your form but also Progressing in Career

Dr. Vijay Mallya  has purchased you for 14 Crores ...

You must be aware very well Dr Vijay Malya did not been paid by the Kingfisher Airlines for the last 18 months.

- We have not only exhausted all our savings but also we are under the burden of huge debts which we have taken from our Relatives / Banks by mortgaging our Property / Gold

- The case is worse for lower staff those who are forced to stay in slums as destitute. Dr. Vijay Mallya says that he does not have money to pay us whereas he is spending crores in IPL / Formula 1 / Kingfisher Calendars. He is Spending al money on Girls Wine and Sports but Not paying us at all.

- It's now up to you to decide whether to turn a deaf ear to us and work for such a cruel / inhuman person and to invite negativity to your life or to refuse his Employment on moral grounds

KFA employees say that they are particularly sad with the fact that Dr Vijay Mallya had been lying to all the employees all this while...The last resort they say was to plead with Yuvraj Singh. 

Ms Pooja and Reena  former Kingfisher employee says that even such a big cricketer has ignored all these facts. 

She asserts that it is not possible that the cricketer would not have known of these cruel facts but he chose to ignore to pocket the big money. As a fan as well she feels cheated and hurt.

Anjan Kumar Deveshawar who has been very vocal on the KFA matters says that Yuvraj should realise his social responsibility and not accept the offer. He emphasises that the nation had supported and prayed for his well being when he was down with cancer but the star seems to have forgotten all of that now.


The financial mess in KFA is known to the world. What is surprising is the fact that Mallya  has gone on record stating that he has no money and efforts are being made to get the airline to some sort of footing. The fine print for cricket drawn by Dr Vijay Mallya is indeed raising the eyebrows. One wonders how Yuvi's fans will react to this move of KFA employees.

हम सभी किंगफिशर एयरलाइंस के कर्मचारी आपके फैन हैं. हम ही नहीं पूरे देश ने दुआ की थी कि आप अपनी बीमारी से जल्द से जल्द ठीक हो जाएं. हम खुश हैं कि आप न कि केवल अपना फॉर्म बरकरार रखते हुए खेल रहे हैं बल्कि करियर में भी आगे बढ़ रहे हैं.

मिस्टर माल्या ने आपको 14 करोड़ रुपये में खरीदा है... हमें किंगफिशर एयरलाइंस ने पिछले 18 महीनों से सैलरी नहीं दी है. हमारी सारी सेविंग खत्‍म हो चुकी है और हम कर्ज के बोझ तले दबे हुए हैं. रिश्तेदारों और बैंक्स से अपनी प्रॉपर्टी और गोल्ड के एवज में हमने लोन लिए हैं. लोअर स्टाफ की हालत और खराब है जिन्हें स्लम इलाकों में रहना पड़ रहा है.

मिस्टर माल्या ने हमें कहा है कि हमें सैलरी देने के लिए उनके पास पैसे नहीं हैं, जबकि आईपीएल, फॉर्मूला वन और कैलेंडर्स में वो करोड़ों रुपये खर्च कर रहे हैं.

अब ये आपके ऊपर है कि आप अपने कान बंद करके ऐसे निर्दयी इंसान के लिए काम करें और अपने जीवन में नकारात्मकता बुलाएं या नैतिक आधार पर उनके लिए काम करने से मना कर दें.

कर्मचारियों ने कहा कि उन्हें इस बात से सबसे ज्यादा दुख है कि विजय माल्या ने इतने दिनों तक उनसे झूठ बोला. हमारे पास आखिरी रास्ता युवराज सिंह से गुजारिश करने का ही बचा था. किंगफिशर की पूर्व कर्मचारी पूजा ने कहा कि युवी जैसे बड़े क्रिकेटर ने भी ये सारे फैक्ट्स अनदेखे कर दिए. उसने कहा कि मैं नहीं मान सकती कि युवी को ये सारी बातें नहीं पता होंगी, लेकिन उन्होंने पैसों को तरजीह दी. एक फैन के तौर पर मुझे ऐसे लग रहा है कि धोखा दिया गया है.

अंजन कुमार देवेश्वर ने कहा कि युवी को अपनी सोशल रिसपॉन्सबिलिटी को समझना चाहिए और इस ऑफर को स्वीकार नहीं करना चाहिए. उन्होंने कहा कि जब युवी कैंसर से जूझ रहे थे तो पूरे देश ने उनके लिए दुआ की थी और अब ऐसा लग रहा है कि वो ये सब भूल गए हैं.
