Nandini Kandelwal Golgapppa.Com

Mrs Nandini Kandelwal Golgapppa.Com

Great Ideas emerge out of anything. This has been proved by a Housewife from Indore, Mrs. Nandini Khandelwal.

She actually belongs to a small Village called PanSemal in Madhya Pradesh but had to shift to Indore for her Children’s Education. She was born in 1980 and has done her Studies from Indore. Her Schooling is from Marvari High School and has done higher Studies from Shri ClothMarket Institute of Professional Studies.

Nandini is blessed with two cute Kids Master Mohak and Master Ritik. Her Husband Mr. Dinesh Khandelwal is the Owner of 'Cotton Ginner', an Organisation in Maharastra and Indore.

Mrs. Khandelwal was a typical Indian Housewife. Looking after her Family and feeding them Good Food was her only aim in life. Although she dreamt Big during her School & College Days and wanted to make a Name for herself in life, but Life’s situations till this Time didn’t permit her for the same.

However, Nandini had a God’s Gift. Her Food was not only Good but was Excellent. Her Family thoroughly enjoyed it. She makes extremely Good Veg and Non-Veg Dishes, both Indian and other varieties. Besides the above, she can make 90 Types of Indian Thalis, 32 Types of Golgapppa Waters, to Name a few. She has also taken various Courses in Cooking. There are many other Cooking Treasures under her simple Veil.

Her Life was Simple and running smoothly and she was quite content. Until one Day, her Husband gave her an Idea to start a Tiffin Business. She liked it as it didn’t require too much running around and will give her Time for her Family too. Moreover, it was a way to live her Dream which she saw long back and will help her make an identity for herself. Not to say the fact, that the move will give her much-needed Financial Independence.

She started a Sai Tiffin Centre. She was sending her Boxes to PGs, Hostels, Offices etc. and it was running smoothly. People liked her Food and she started increasing her Customer base. As Luck would have it, I also became one of her Customers one Day as I had a Guest at Home and wanted a Tiffin for him. After tasting the Food, I became a regular Customer and ordered it many times.

I later came to know that she was a very well-Educated Woman and was very much Tech-savvy. She was gracious enough to add me on Social Networking Sites and this was where the Life for her took a turn. If anybody sees her Facebook profile, it can be easily noticed that she is very much inclined to Religion and it has a great influence on her overall Personality making her a very simple Woman at Heart. In fact, her Tagline on Facebook reads as 'I am very simple'.

Once I was having a Discussion with my Staff on various Entrepreneurial Ideas and one of them came up with the Idea of serving Golgapppas (which some people also call Puchkas) in an Organised way. But, we needed somebody who has interest in Cookery activities and has a Vision too. The first Name which came in my Mind was of none other than Mrs. Khandelwal’s.
I discussed the Idea with her and as I expected, she was all excited about it. Thus came up www.golgapppa.com. It is an Entrepreneurial Venture by her to offer high-Quality, Hygienic Golgapppas to the People of Indore. The Vendors are dressed nicely, wear Hand Gloves, wear the Brand’s Cap and use Filtered Water. It is all in an Organised form and surprisingly offers the Golgapppas at the same Price as that of the unhygienic Vendor. They are able to maintain a Good Margin too and people are enjoying the Golgapppas.

She currently has a Team of 12 Members and has her Vendors all round Indore. This Venture was started with an Investment of Rs 15,000/- by her Three Years back and now she earns more than Double this Amount every Month. There is a Plan for expanding this Business in other Cities of India too and she Travels a lot for this purpose.

My Organization, AeroSoft Corp, is involved in the Marketing and Promotion of this Venture.

Mrs. Nandini Khandelwal’s Journey from a Simple Housewife to a Successful Entrepreneur has been exciting. She cherishes it and is enjoying it. She has added another Feather in the Cap of Indian Woman who can achieve anything in the World by her Hard Work and Determination. The only Thing she needs is a helping Hand and support of her Family.

As per Google.com she is the

She says that she will always be grateful to her Husband for his 'Great Idea', which changed her Life.

Kamta

Kamta Prasad - an Inspiration

I am going to tell you a Story. A Story of Strength, Inspiration, Motivation and Courage. It is the Story of a person who travelled his journey from Noone to SOMEONE and came out successfully.

It is the Story of Mr. Kamta Prasad, a small Mechanic from Reva, a small Town  400 Kms from  Indore in Madhya Pradesh.  He was 22 years old then, 10 years back. He belonged to a not so well-to-do family, financially. He finished his Class 10th and did Diploma

from ITI (full form……). After that, he opened a small Garage under a shed in Indore and was operating from there for the next Seven years.

I met Kamta at a Casual Meeting in Indore one day in 2010. ‘This person has something in him’, I felt. I could see the Dedication, Passion and Perseverance

which this guy had for his Profession. All he needed was a Dream. He had bought a second-hand Indica Car in a Partnership and used it as a Taxi. I also used his Services and he was earning around Rs 8,000/- - Rs 10,000/- per Month that time.

That was a time when I was also thinking of expanding my Business. I offered him a Partnership opportunity and he accepted willingly. It happened to be a 50:50 Partnership.He sold his 1st car and on 17th February 2010 bought a brand new Indigo CS car for Rs 6,50,000/-. He took a Bank Loan for the purpose too. We called our Partnership 'A1 Cabs'. We hired Full-time as-well-as On-call Drivers. 'A1 Cabs' is providing excellent Taxi Services to the City of Indore and is getting good feedbacks from the Passengers.

After some time, we also started

www.golgapppa.com which is a ………………………………….

Within next Six months, on the Independence Day, 15th August 2010, Kanta bought another Car, a Second Indigo CS, this time on his own. Presently, he is the Owner of Three Cars and has hired Nine. So, totally he has Twelve cars at the moment and is using them as Taxis.

Coming to Kanta as a Person, he comes from a very humble background. His Father  Mr………….. was a …………. His Mother is a Homemaker. His Wife is a Teacher in a School.

I found him  to be a very Reasonable and Cultured Human Being. Even though he is now achieving what he deserves, through his Hard Work and Diligence, he has not let Success get to his Head and he has not let his Hunger for the same die.

10 years down the Line, Kanta is earning Good Money from his Business, no doubt. He has an Android Phone now, a Laptop and is learning to use them.

From a small Garage in a shed to a 6,000 sft Computerised and well-equipped GuruKrupa Auto Garage in the heart of the city, it literally was a story of SOMEONE from Rags to Riches.

Akshaye Vaid

We meet so many People in our Day-to-day life. But how many can we call as good

Friends ?

Not everybody right ?

It is very rare we meet someone Professionally and later find a good Friend in

him/her. One such Friend for me has been…. Akshaye Vaid.

Akshaye is basically from Jammu. His dad Shri Ashok C. Vaid has worked in High-Profile Positions both in India and Abroad. He also worked in the rank of Indian High Commissioner in Iraq. I met Akshaye in Colombo on a Business trip. He appeared to me a very nice and kind Gentleman and a thorough Professional. He invited me to his House and introduced me to his Family. They were as nice and kind to me.

He was also kind enough to visit my House when he was in India and everyone in my Family liked him too.

Akshaye born in London and brought up in many countries, He has completed his basic Education from Kendriya Vidyalaya, Jammu. Later, he did his Masters from Jammu University. Aprat from many courses from different Countries. Akshaye only taught me ABCD of Computers when we were in Colombo. He is very Tech Savvy guy and introduce me with many such gudgets.

For work, Akshaye has lived in various Cities like Mumbai, Colombo, Hyderabad and New Delhi. He is presently working for an IT Company in Australia since last 4 Years.

Like all other men of our Generation, Akshaye too has a fetish for Designer Products. You can see it when you meet him. He also likes to play Sports like Snooker, Billiards etc and is quite good at them. But, the best thing I like about him is that he is a great Family man.

We started as Professional acquaintances but now know each other personally quite well. I can say he is one of my good Friends now.  We discuss both our Professional and Personal aspects with each other quite comfortably.

I am glad he has been my Friend since last 15 Years and I wish we add many-many more years to our Relationship.

A Day in Corporate Life when everything went Wrong

It was a normal Sunday evening. The perfect end of a Weekend with a mixed feeling about the Next Day and Week. We all have it and Mondays bring with themselves what has been known as ‘Monday Blues’. But never knew this Monday is going to be so much Blue in colour!!!

I woke up at 0530 am. Not because it was my normal wake-up time but because the Current went off. Yes, what a start of the Week. I consoled myself saying that it is a good habit to wake up early and they say that the rest of the day goes well. They could not have been more wrong.

No Power so no warm Water. Got ready somehow to go to Office and wishing for a good Day. My Office starts at 1000 hrs. At 0950 I drove my Toyota Etios myself as Driver left for Office to get other Cars ready. I reached Office and started my work.

Two of my Colleagues Manager Marketing Surbhi and Asst Manager Nidhi had a Meeting with Mr Rajan Arora CEO of APlus [a Client ] at 1100 hrs. They had to go for a Site Visit too. Being the CEO of the AeroSoft Corp Organization, I have to look after whether everything is going as per Schedule. Just as they were starting, the Driver gave us a jolt. The Maruti Alto Car , in which they were supposed to go, was not starting. It was ok till Saturday, then what happened suddenly? He said there is some Mechanical problem and it will take time. ‘Ok, no probs’, I said. ‘We have another Vehicle which is on its way back. I will just call the A1 Cabs Driver’. It was on its normal Duty of taking some Passengers for a visit.

"What!!!’….. got a Shock of my life when I called the Driver. He was Hospitalised!!! No, it was not an Accident. It was worse. The Passengers had beaten him up and ran away with the Cab. My God, what was happening. I had heard of similar incidents, but did not know it will happen with me and that too today. I hurriedly got someone to do the Police complaint. On the other side, the Client was waiting for my Team to reach. But, they were still here. So, I had to do which I would not have done otherwise. Called up our rival Cab Company Metro Cabs for a vehicle and arranged for one. It was already 1230 hrs. But, somehow the vehicle was arranged and the team went.

I came back to my Cabin with a heavy Head. ‘God, please make the day run fast and get me the Lunch time’. I wanted this half-day to be over. Some minutes later, I got a call from another Client. She was not sounding very happy and wanted something from our side to be delivered to her immediately as she had already made the payment. I assured her and went to take a Print-out for the same. But now…why the Print-out was not coming? It was a new Printer which we bought recently only and the IT boy told me its working properly. So, what’s the problem now? I checked & rechecked. Figured out after some time, that the Printer was not showing ‘Installed’ in the Computer and the IT boy also didn’t come today.

I had to find a Solution to this problem on my own. Thanks to Larry Page and Sergey brin, Google gives a solution to most of our problems. It told me ways to install the Printer and finally I got it done, all by myself. Took the Print-out and sent to the client.

Oof, finally half-a-day is over. Actually, more than half. It was already 1500 hrs and I remembered I had not had my Lunch. I went to have it and in the meantime, my Colleagues came back from the Meeting and told that it went well. The Client was generous enough to understand why we were late.

Thankfully, the next three hours went calmly except that the Coffee machine wanted to take a day off too and I was thanking God for the day to be over. I was still unaware of what was waiting for me. On my way back Home, at one Signal, the Traffic Policeman made me to stop. He was doing a routine check and told me to show Papers of the vehicle. On any other day, it would have been ok. But, not on that day. I was not carrying my Papers. The evening before, I took them out for taking a Photocopy and forgot to keep them back. Wow. I was not in a mood to argue and gave him the fine with a promise of not repeating the mistake.

I came back Home. Alas, the day was not yet over. It seemed there was a major fault in the area and there was no Current throughout the day. There was no hope for it to come in the Night too.

Anyways, had my Dinner with Family and went to Sleep. Hope the Phrase ‘every dark night has a beautiful morning’ will hold true tomorrow

Dr Vijay Mallya, the Chairman of grounded Kingfisher Airlines (KFA), to pay one-month’s salary on ‘humanitarian grounds

Kingfisher Airlines, which has been grounded for almost a year for want of cash, is in talks with a foreign investor for a potential stake sale, Chairman Vijay Mallya said on Tuesday, without naming any investor. Mallya also said that KFA is ready to pay one month’s salary to the now grounded airline’s employees on “humanitarian grounds” “I expect this to take some form or shape in the next 90 days. That is my own estimate,” Mallya told reporters after the company’s annual shareholders meeting. Mallya has said several times in the past that the company was in talks with potential investors, but the plans have not materialised so far. Mallya also said that he plans on restarting the airline and has already send three revival proposals to the DGCA. However, the aviation regulator is yet to respond to the proposals. “We gather informally that they would like a full recapitalisation. In our current discussions with a potential investor, we are focussing on these things,” he added. The airline stopped flying on October 1 last year after employees struck work over not being paid salaries. On October 20, India’s airline regulator, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation, suspended its licence . On December 31, the regulator let the licence lapse after the airline failed to produce a convincing business plan to restart operations. Meanwhile, Kingfisher has requested UBHL board to continue funding the carrier. “UBHL has accepted this in light of the prospective investor. UBHL cannot use the funds it has currently for this purpose, because of the restraining order from the Karnataka High Court. We have in fact replied to the court asking for permission to use the funds and now it is in the hands of honourable court,” said Mallya Mallya also said that he has asked United Breweries Holding ( UBHL) for funds and the spirits major has agreed to pay one month’s salary to Kingfisher’s staff. Mallya also said that the consumer franchise for United Spirits Limited (USL) remains very strong, adding that the integration with Diageo will be done in phases. Vijay Mallya He expects revenues from Diageo to flow in from October. “The board will consider Anand Kripalu’s name for USL MD post,” he told shareholders at the USL annual general meeting (AGM). Reeling under tremendous debt-burden, Mallya, through United Breweries and other group companies, agreed in November to sell stake in United Spirits , India’s largest distiller, to Diageo. Mallya said Diageo will sell USL brands in emerging markets. Also, former Diageo CEO Paul Walsh has joined the USL board, while HDFC managing director Renu Sud Karnad has joined the USL board as a director. Speaking about the company’s sales, Mallya says USL has growth 20 percent in prestige and above liquor segment.
